UVS® compact the new viscosity measurement device which is capable of determining the intrinsic viscosity of polymers as well as the kinematicviscosity of mineral oil products in compliance withASTM D 665.The flow times are detected optical and respectively for opaque samples - like usedmotor oils - through thermistors with a precision to the millisecond. The integrated pumps and valves inside the UVS® compact are chemical-resistant and withstand solvents like toluene, acetone and acidsin order to allow athoroughly purification and drying of the capillary.The modular concept of our UVS® instruments allows individual configurations like different temperaturebaths, sample changer and multi-measuring stations.
